Mann Sundar (transl. Beauty of the Heart) is an Indian romantic drama series produced by Suzana Ghai under the banner of Panorama Entertainment.[1] It premiered on 18 October 2021 on Dangal TV channel.[2] The series formerly starred Shruti Anand and Shivam Khajuria.[3][4] Currently, it stars Nancy Roy and Dev Aditya[5] in the second generation.

Plot

Ruchita is an self-esteemed and an idealistic women, whom doesn't care about her dark skin. She works at her father's friend company, which was owned by Naresh Goyal. Nihar, the youngest son of Naresh is in love with Amrita who is his brother Prateek's wife and Ritu's sister. The family fixes Ruchita and Nihar's marriage but Nihar opposes and he tries to elope with Amrita but fails as Amrita leaves to London causing Nihar to marry Ruchita. But he blames Ruchita for this and starts to hate her.

Nihar's mother, Poonam, and his grandmother doesn't accepts Ruchita due to her dark skin and creates more problems and tries to expel her from Nihar's life. After many struggles, Nihar starts to fall for Ruchita but Amrita returns to separate them. She collaborates with Poonam and Dadi (Grandmother) and succeeded by expelling her from the house by framing her for Dadi's accident. It turns out to be a plot done by Amrita and Dadi. Ruchita discovers Amrita and Dadi's truth as she tries to expose her but Amrita poisons Ruchita and makes the family to believe Ruchita is dead. Ruchita survives and scares, Amrita as Ghost but she fakes her pregnancy causing Nihar to announces his marriage. Dadi realizes here mistake and accepts Ruchita and helps her to expose Amrita. Ruchita exposes Amrita to the family by stopping Nihar from marrying Amrita. Nihar ends his relationship, with Amrita and Ruchita expels Amrita. Bua Sa, Naresh's grandaunt enters in their life as she puts an initial dislikes towards on Ruchita unaware of Ruchita and Nihar's Marriage. Bua Sa finally discovers their truth but her intension is to snatch the Goyal's property but however the family manages to retrieves their wealth as Bua Sa apologies and leaves.

Amrita returns to seek revenge in which she fakes her own death and makes Nihar arrested. Meera, Amrita's mother manipulates Ritu against them and she uses her by destroying the entire evidences against them so that they don't want let Nihar to release from jail. Ruchita finds and discovers Amrita and Meera's true nature. Ruchita exposes Amrita and Meera and makes them arrested by bailing Nihar. Preeti, Poonam and Naresh's long-lost daughter seeks revenge she creates more problems as Dadi had hides her truth. Ruchita discovers and exposes Preeti and Dadi's truth to everyone as Dadi reveals how her uncle doesn't accepts Preeti as she was a girl so the family accepts Preeti but is unaware of the truth that Preeti had came for the property. Preeti causes many problems in which she causes Prateek and Nihar fight causing them to divide their house. Ruchita discovers and exposes Preeti as she discovers Preeti is mental so they sends her to the mental asylum.

Spin-off

Mann Atisundar

After the success of this show, it had a spin-off television series titled Mann Atisundar as this story portrayed Radhika, a plus-size woman who is Ruchita's cousin who wants to marry a man of her choice.[citation needed]
