Exquisite Corpses is an upcoming American action-horror comic book limited series created by James Tynion IV and Michael Walsh, and published by Image Comics and Tiny Onion on May 14, 2025.^[1]

Every five years on Halloween, the wealthiest families in the United States play a game in which twelve of the deadliest people in the world must kill each other to survive. This time, the game is set Oak Valley, Maine, where the citizens must survive these killers during the night.^[1]

Exquisite Corpses is an upcoming comic book series created by James Tynion IV and Michael Walsh, which will published by Image Comics thought Tiny Onion, Tynion's own company, on May 14, 2025.^[2]. It was originally announced on October 2024 as Project Exquisite.^[3]

Among the crew of artists involved, there are Adam Gorham, Becca Carey, Che Grayson, Claire Roe, Gavin Fullerton, Jordie Bellaire, Marianna Ignazzi, Pornsak Pichetshote, Tyler Boss, and Valentine De Landro.^[4]

Tynion said in a statement accompanying the announcement, "We’re trying to bring the kind of energy and excitement that’s usually reserved in the comics space for a superhero comic or licensed property. That’s why we’re calling this a horror comics event. We feel like this has the potential to be something really special and lasting."^[4]

According to Tynion, he expects Exquisite Corpses to be part of a larger franchise with multiple series to co-exist into a shared universe, as a response to Skybound/Hasbro's Energon Universe.^[3]
