Rahat Hayat (born October 23),[1] better known by his stage name DJ Rahat, is a Bangladeshi DJ.[2][3][4] He has opened a school for DJs in Bangladesh.[5][6]

DJ Rahat stands as a pioneering figure in Bangladesh's music scene, carving a niche for himself as the first Bangladeshi DJ to amass a staggering one million YouTube subscribers. With a career spanning over two decades, Rahat has not only achieved remarkable milestones but has also left an indelible mark on the global music landscape. [7]

Embarking on his musical journey in 2004, DJ Rahat quickly rose through the ranks, captivating audiences with his electrifying performances and innovative mixes. His talent transcended borders, leading him to traverse 15 countries and undertake over 25 tours, garnering acclaim and recognition worldwide. [8]

In addition to his illustrious DJ career, Rahat is the visionary founder of the esteemed DJ institute, "Garage," where he has nurtured and mentored over 300 aspiring DJs, shaping the next generation of musical talent. [9]

DJ Rahat's prowess behind the turntables earned him prestigious roles as the official DJ for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and the ICC T20 World Cup 2014, where his eclectic mixes resonated with audiences across the globe. [10]

Rahat's repertoire boasts an impressive array of collaborations with renowned artists such as Kumar Bishwajit, Asif Akbar, and Bappa Mazumder, among many others. His collaborative efforts have resulted in chart-topping hits, including "FOLK Mashup," which has amassed over 125 million views on YouTube. Other notable tracks such as "Pagol Mon" and "Tikatulir More Ekta Hall Royeche" have further solidified his status as a musical luminary. [11]

In 2007, he featured in the song Bondhu by Nancy.[14] In March 2009, he released Abhimaner Deyal with Julie.[15] He has performed in the 2011 Cricket World Cup and the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.[16] He has released 8 album, featuring most renowned artist of Bangladesh, like: Partha Barua, Dilruba Khan, Kumar Biswajit, Nancy, Oyshee, Konal, Fahmida Nobi, Bappa Mazumder, Pantho kanai, Alif Alauddin, Muhin, Baul Shafi Mondol, Shuvo, Onita, Liton, Mukta, Lemis, Nishita Barua, Kona, Uptown Lokolz, Bangla Mentalz and others.[17][18][19] In June 2017, he released a single with Tanjib Sarowar.[20]
