Anderson Township is one of seven townships in Perry County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,603 and it contained 649 housing units.[1]

History

Anderson Township was named after the Anderson River.[3]

The Huffman Mill Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.[4]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 59.5 square miles (154 km2), of which 59.44 square miles (153.9 km2) (or 99.90%) is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 km2) (or 0.10%) is water.[5]
