Adri Mehmeti (born April 6, 2009) is a professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Major League Soccer club New York Red Bulls and MLS Next Pro side New York Red Bulls II.

Club career

Early career

Born in Albania and raised in Staten Island, New York, Mehmedi joined the New York Red Bulls Academy in 2019 and featured within Red Bulls Academy up to the U-15 level. During the 2024 season Mehmeti featured for New York Red Bulls II in MLS Next Pro. On 20 March 2024, Mehmeti made his professional debut, coming on as a second-half substitute for New York Red Bulls II in a 5–1 victory over Hudson Valley Hammers in the first round of the U.S. Open Cup.[1] On 8 May 2024, Mehmeti made his MLS NEXT Pro debut for Red Bulls II against Orlando City B.[2]

On 10 December 2024, Mehmeti signed a four-year contract with the first team.[3]

International

Mehmeti is eligible to represent the United States and Albania. He has represented both the United States and Albania at the U-15 level.[4]
