250 (two hundred [and] fifty) is the natural number following 249 and preceding 251.
250 is the sum of two square numbers in two different ways ( and ), and it is also the sum of two perfect cubes ().[1][2][3]
Society
- In Chinese slang, the number 250 means 'idiot' (spelled as èr bái wǔ/ㄦˋ ㄅㄞˇ ㄨˇ).[4] The Gulfstream G280 was originally the G250, and was renamed for this reason.[5]

Chinese has plenty of other number-based slang, such as erbaiwu, or "250," which means "idiot," or "38," pronounced sanba, which means "bitch." There are even some streets in China that skip house number 250.
