SOULM8TE is an upcoming American science fiction erotic thriller film written and directed by Kate Dolan, from a story by James Wan, Ingrid Bisu, and Rafael Jordan. It serves as a spin-off of M3GAN (2022). It stars Lily Sullivan, David Rysdahl, Claudia Doumit and Oliver Cooper. Jason Blum and James Wan serve as producers under their Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster banners.

SOULM8TE is scheduled to be released in the United States on January 2, 2026.

Cast

Production

In June 2024, it was announced that a spin-off to M3GAN (2022) was in development. Kate Dolan signed on to direct from a script she wrote, with a story by James Wan and Ingrid Bisu.[1] That August, Lily Sullivan,[2] David Rysdahl[3] and Claudia Doumit joined the cast.[4] Principal photography had been completed by November 2024.[5] In March 2025, Oliver Cooper, Steve Chusak, Ossian Perret, Emma Ramos, Isabelle Bonfrer, Robert Ashe, Jon Tarcy, Harleen Sahota, Charlie Kranz rounded out the cast.[6] Narayan Van Maele serves as the cinematographer, while John Cutler edited the film.[7][8]

SOULM8TE is scheduled to be released in the United States on January 2, 2026.[1]
