This is one of about 20 complete Bombardier Snowmobiles known to exist in Norway. Bombardiers are used for winter transportation of hotel guests at different tourist resorts. This is a 1963 model, as would be evidenced by its rectangular windows and steel body panels. Smuksjøseter Fjellstue by no:Rondane_nasjonalpark owns two snowmobiles to bring their guests during winter season. :no:Sikkilsdalen owns four wood Bombardiers to bring their guest during winter season. The largest collection of Bombardiers in Norway is owned by no:JVB and are in use at no:beltebilruta fra Tyin til Eidsbugarden, a regular route in Jotunheimen. 10 of the JVBs 12 snowmobiles operates on this route while the last two operates a route between no:Beitostølen and no:Bygdin.

2007-03-06 21:11 Melensdad 800×600×8 (188651 bytes) This is one of fourteen complete Bombardier Snowmobiles known to exist in Norway. The Bombardier seen on the picture is a 1965 model. Twelve of the existing Bombardiers in Norway is in regualar winter traffic in the Jotunheimen mountains, 10 in the route Tyin-Eidsbugarden and 2 in the route Beitostølen-Bygdin. The twelve snowmobiles are owned and runned by Jotunheimen & Valdresruten Bilselskap. They are reuglary maintained and most of the snowmobiles is now powered by Edelbrock Performer Chevy 350 V8 engines with 310hp. See www.jvb.no for more information.
