There’s been multiple sources speculating about his return in the revival season of Scrubs. I believe that he is notable. Let me know what you think. MrHunter25 (talk) 19:55, 22 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@MrHunter25: I watched it religiously. If its a news, it will be popular. Revert it. Somebody else may review it though. scope_creepTalk 20:59, 22 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve only just started watching it. MrHunter25 (talk) 23:24, 22 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve been reverted again. MrHunter25 (talk) 23:59, 22 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@MrHunter25: You can't revert it. It has been sent to Afd and decision was a redirect. You can't revert it again or likely blocked. scope_creepTalk 04:46, 23 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @BhikhariInformer: How goes it. Unfortunately I don't know much about this. I don't even think I've even worked on a school article to be honest, even taken one to Afd, so I'll have to give it a miss. Thanks for considering me though. scope_creepTalk 11:07, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
No worries at all! I just thought that I'd check in since your policy inputs are always very sharp. But I completely understand. Thanks! BhikhariInformer (talk) 14:49, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

January–February 2026 NPP drive - Phase 2

NPP unreviewed article statistics as of February 02, 2026

Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Best of luck!

Start patrolling!

Question from Rettebdael (12:40, 12 February 2026)

Hi Scope Creep, new to this, wanting to give back to the site that has given me so much. Have you got any hints/tips for starting out with updating on Wikipedia? --Rettebdael (talk) 12:40, 12 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Rettebdael: How are you? I've left a welcome message on your talk page, more like a landing page. Please take a look at that first as it has a load of links which lead to different parts of Wikipedia. It may provide some ideas for future development. Generally you could start out by updating articles via Wikipedia:maintenance tasks. These are a whole series different tasks like e.g. spell checking or fixing grammer. Each maintenance task has a wikiproject, an area where folk gather to consult, plan and schedule. For example, the grammer team is at Wikipedia:WikiProject Grammar. There is Wikiprojects for all sorts of task. A lot of the tasks depend on your the particular strengths and weakness and what you like and dislike. Doing something like fixing grammer for example would be ideal if you had a good command of English grammer, which I don't have, so I would never tackle it. Fixing vandalism is another thing you can look it. Both of these types of task will get you used to the layout of the article, how they are structured depending on its type. A lot of that kind of stuff is automatically done through scripting so may not be as rewarding as first thought but will get you experience of what good articles look like and more so, what bad articles look like. If your particularly good at English and have some writing and research experience you could have a go at updating an article that has particular fault. For example, in the maintenance tasks list there is the section called "Improve lead sections". The lead/lede (two spellings) sections in the article are particularly problematic as they provide the opening context or meaning of what the subject is about. Its essentially a summary of the article and needs to be accurate. They are generally quite easy to write but easy to get wrong. For the reader a wrong lead is problematic. Fixing the WP:LEAD in small WP:STUB's, (small stubby articles) are fairly easy, just by reading the article and writing what you think the summary should be. Lastly, please check out the WP:TEAHOUSE for new editors, a place to ask questions, WP:Help desk for asking technical questions about problems on Wikipedia and the reference desk at WP:Reference desk for difficult factual problems that need resolved. Right, I'll leave it there for the moment. Its a lot to take in, but don't worry too much about it. The knowledge seeps in. I can check some of your work and provide some help at any time. Ping me any time. To do that type in {{ping|Scope creep}}. I'm here most days, except on holiday which I was last week. Hope that helps. scope_creepTalk 14:56, 20 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

pblocked for one month from Project space

You've been repeatedly warned, and previously blocked for behaviour such as what you exhibited at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Colet (singer). Harassing, attacking and threatening those who disagree with you is not something the project tolerates, and no amount of warnings seems to deter you. I hope you use this month to rethink your attitude. Owen× 00:55, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

ANI discussion closed, warning

I have closed the ANI discussion about your behavior at AfD [1]. There was consensus to warn you for your behavior and consensus against a topic ban. Please always treat your fellow editors with respect, assume good faith, and be polite. Do not make personal attacks or threaten retaliation for actions you disagree with. Question from Robdiamond116 (14:17, 23 February 2026)

Hello, am very thrilled to have you as my mentor. Please how do I have my name added to Wikipedia such that people can look up to my name and access my detailed biography --Robdiamond116 (talk) 14:17, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Robdiamond116: How are you? Welcome to Wikipedia on your first edit. Well generally you don't add a detailed biography of yourself unless you are considered notable and there is a policy known as Conflict of Interest that governs the ways it is written. Generally when a person is writing about themselves, the article tends to be bit skewed, be a bit unbalanced and a bit puffy or promotional so it is generally discouraged but it can be done if you are notable and sources are available. I would write it for you. There is an area you can write about yourself until your hearts content that is known as the user page. Yours in located at User:Robdiamond116. Here is an example of an editor with a good user page User:Cullen328. You can see how Cullen describes what is background and how he came to Wikipedia and so on. Now your here, I've added a thing called a template to your talk page here User talk:Robdiamond116 which is essentially a landing page full of links to help you find stuff, which takes a bit of time. I recently discovered a new area on Wikipedia which I didn't know about so don't worry too much about being overwhelmed. It takes time to settle in. There is areas and folk to help you. One is an noticeboard called the WP:TEAHOUSE, which is for new editors to ask questions. There is a lot of folk up there to help you. I'm in every day unless I'm on holiday, so you can contact at any time and i'll available to help on most things. If I see one of your messages I'll be there right away. I hope that helps to get your started. Contact me anytime about anything. scope_creepTalk 15:04, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Pepere'slibrary on Harriet E. Wilson (19:26, 27 February 2026)

Hi! Is this a proper reference for Harriet E. Wilson? In my retirement I've been reading a sizeable collection of books handed down from my dad's father. My habit is to research terms, words and people that I'm unfamiliar with. One such book is Experiment Perilous, by Margaret Carpenter. Published by Little, Brown and Company 1943. In the story one Dr. Huntingdon Bailey is the lead character/hero. At the bottom of page 108 appears this sentence: "Dr. Bailey's office secretary-nurse was called Harriet Wilson and, unlike the lady who had born that name some time earlier, had as anonymous a personality as the name suggested." --Pepere'slibrary (talk) 19:26, 27 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Pepere'slibrary: How goes it? Not really unfortunately. Its not a good reference. I think the book is fiction and shes mentioned on the periphery. It does show she was known though which means there is more references out there. Try looking at [[2]], Google Books and the Internet Archive, Refseek. There seems to be plenty on the women. I see they made the book it into a film Experiment Perilous. This women is famous. There is a mountain of coverage. It goes on an on and on, e.g.
