The Wikipedia article of the Balkan boycotts used the term. Hence, the creation of the redirect. Rager7 (talk) 03:43, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption request

Hi Rager7, I see that you've put up an adoption request. I'm a mentor that specialises in content creation; my areas of interest are Eastern Europe, Central Europe, and the Balkans and their associated Communist periods. Please respond here or on my talk page if you're interested. Regards, Grumpylawnchair (talk) 02:19, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help in Politics and/or History in general or is Communist Europe the only subject that you're good at? Rager7 (talk) 16:15, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I can help with politics/history general, though I prefer to stay clear of current American politics if I can. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:17, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Really? Well, I like to do politics/history in general regardless of how contentious it may be. Rager7 (talk) 16:25, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
By current, I mean last year or so. Everything else is fine. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:30, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I see, is there any catch if I accept this adoption offer? Rager7 (talk) 16:32, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by "catch"? Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:32, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
"Catch" as in any other conditions that I may need to acquire before taking this on. Rager7 (talk) 16:33, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No, not that I know of. Do you prefer a structured program (like a course on Wikipedia policies) or a more freeflow one where you ask me questions as you go along? Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:36, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The latter. Rager7 (talk) 16:37, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Which is what I prefer. Which time zone are you in? Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:38, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm in EDT. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:38, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Same EDT Rager7 (talk) 16:39, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So this is ideal. Would you like to accept the mentorship? Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:40, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. Let me know if you have Discord or any social media that can make communication easier. Rager7 (talk) 16:41, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have Discord. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:45, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Even better. Let me know your username so we can chat there. Rager7 (talk) 16:46, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
huhuuu, or huhuuu8016 if that doesn't work. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:47, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alight, friend request sent. Rager7 (talk) 16:48, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Accepted. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:49, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't check it as often as Wikipedia, so ask me here if I don't respond in a timely fashion. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:48, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Got it, do you prefer Discord or on-site communication? Rager7 (talk) 16:49, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
On-site since it's more convenient, but Discord's alright too. Basically whatever you prefer. Grumpylawnchair (talk) 16:54, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unit names

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia! There are lots of style choices that have been made in the English Wikipedia that may not be obvious. One is that a space appears between a number and the unit name, thus "6 cm" rather than "6cm". A non-breaking space is used in running text to prevent the number and the unit name getting separated. See MOS:NBSP and ninth row in the table at MOS:UNITNAMES. Peter coxhead (talk) 06:35, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my bad. I just want to get rid of the grey space between the measurements while editing. Rager7 (talk) 12:27, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
