RM

Hey, is there any reason you posted this requested move? I know it was on behalf of someone else, but it is very clearly AI generated. Cheers LuniZunie(talk) 04:30, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for reaching out. The requested move was originally posted to WT:Requested moves (see here).
I moved it to WP:RM based on WP:AGF. I did not participate in the discussion and have no opinion when it comes to the contents or validity of the nomination. 162 etc. (talk) 17:12, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@162 etc. Appreciate it =) Wasn't warning you or anything, just wanted to see your rationale as this was definitely a first for me! LuniZunie(talk) 17:13, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Scarface (Push It to the Limit)

I genuinely don't think the article is salvageable. The only sources were fan wikis and a YTMND of all things, claiming "it was used in this" in direct violation of WP:TRIVIA. That left only a single, wholly unsourced paragraph. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 19:44, 20 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is an argument you can make at WP:AFD, yes. 162 etc. (talk) 19:45, 20 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I filed a merger request instead. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 19:47, 20 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Would you like to voice your opinion in the merge request? Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 16:55, 21 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for showing me that trick. I didn't know I could do that, which is why I took it to RM. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 16:05, 8 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Request

Can you create an AFD for 2026 Kansas City Chiefs season, 2026 Buffalo Bills season and 2026 Green Bay Packers season (as new users cannot.) My logic is The schedule and draft isn’t out, it’s too soon for an article. Packers2039 (talk) 01:26, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Any logged-in registered user can request an AFD. See WP:AFDHOWTO. 162 etc. (talk) 18:19, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

National Bank Centre (Manulife Place) renaming

I noticed you recently reverted the edits regarding the renaming of Manulife Place to National Bank Centre. I understand the caution regarding "Citation needed," as many early reports framed this as a future change.

However, the rebranding has now officially taken place and is reflected in both commercial records and physical signage.

  1. Major real estate services firm CBRE has updated their official leasing records to recognize the building as the National Bank Centre.
  2. The transition is physically complete; the National Bank crown signage has already been installed on the building’s exterior, as seen in this official update from the bank.

I plan to re-add the updates and include these links as citations to ensure the article complies with WP:VERIFY and WP:COMMONNAME. I’d value your input on this to ensure we are keeping the Edmonton skyline records as accurate as possible. Chinpokomon5 (talk) 20:32, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Although a press release or something similar would be better, based on the above, I won't object to the renaming of the article. 162 etc. (talk) 21:14, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Your revert

Try to be more constructive. Removing my edit as it "doesn't belong in history" is really unhelpful. You could've just moved it. Fences&Windows 23:45, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of David M Johnston?

Hi - I added 'David M Johnston' to the list of David Johnston's on the disambiguation page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Johnston I can see that you removed him from the list. Why? I'd like to know why this happened, and what needs to be 'met' for David M Johnston to be included on this list. He was an eminent scientist and disaster research in NZ, with many accolades and awards, and should be listed on this list, to prevent confusion with David A Johnston -- given they were both volcanologists. See e.g., https://www.eeri.org/about-eeri/news/24632-in-memoriam-david-m-johnston-1966-2025 What needs to happen to have him added back to the list? Edwina46 (talk) 22:37, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

ps: I am new to editing on Wikipedia - so please let me know if there is anything else I need to do to make sure he is featured on this list Edwina46 (talk) 22:38, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thank you for your contributions.
Disambiguation pages, such as David Johnston, are navigation aids which direct the reader to a Wikipedia article. David M. Johnston does not have an article, and this is why I've removed the entry.
If this individual meets WP:N, by all means you are encouraged to create an article. See WP:AFC. 162 etc. (talk) 23:15, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ryan Field (2026), a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ryan Field was added.

You revert

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pattullo_Bridge_replacement&oldid=1337872069

Your revert here was unhelpful with citation needed. When the original source had it that it's a week long closure. Yes phrasing should have said planned, but removing it outright wasn't the way forward and instead you could have rephrased it.--Created Account For Old UI (talk) 23:28, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for your contributions.
Removing uncited material from an article is not "unhelpful". Per WP:PROVEIT: "(...) Facts or claims without an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports them may be removed. They should not be restored without an inline citation to a reliable source."
I see that you have indeed added a citation, and therefore our edits have improved the article. 162 etc. (talk) 23:39, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
My point is the citation for that was there. The existing citation was https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/pattullo-bridge-1-week-closure-9.7077322. The new user just typed the text in the wrong place so the citation preceded it. The new citation was for other information I added not for that edit (they have it as well). Hi there! I'm reaching out because I noticed your recent draftification of Draft:Peppa Pig (fictional character). In your edit summary, you stated that you moved the article to draftspace because User:RomeofromPjmask is not an AFC reviewer. Please note that editors are not required to use the draft space, and most autoconfirmed editors may move an article from the draft space to the main space, bypassing AfC. Exceptions exist, such as editors who are partially blocked. I'm looking into the editor who moved this draft and others to check if exceptions exist.

Additionally, I wanted to let you know that if you somewhat regularly move articles from main space to draft space, you may want to install the MoveToDraft script, which automates the process. This will ensure editors are notified and the new draft article has the {{draft article}} template, among other concerns.

If you have any questions or concerns about any of the above, please let me know. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 00:18, 14 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for reaching out.
Admittedly, WP:AFC is not my area of expertise. I do note that Draft:Peppa Pig (fictional character) was submitted to AFC and declined last year. In this case, shouldn't the article be resubmitted before going into article space?
I also note that User:RomeofromPjmask does not have 500 edits, as required by WP:WPAFC#How to get involved. 162 etc. (talk) 16:56, 14 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
RomeofromPjmask was not involved in the AfC process but rather moved articles from main space. As stated previously, most autoconfirmed editors are allowed to move articles from the draftspace to the mainspace. This is not a special privilege of AfC reviewers. Many editors who have had their drafts declined can simply move the article to mainspace to bypass AfC. In fact, the {{draft article}} template has two buttons: "Submit for review" or "Publish now", where the latter directly moves the draft article to mainspace. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:27, 14 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I note that per WP:AFCREVIEW, "If your draft has been declined, you are encouraged to take the reviewer's feedback into account and resubmit your draft using the "submit" button on the AfC template." Going straight to "Publish now", rather than resubmitting, seems to be contrary to the usual process. 162 etc. (talk) 21:57, 14 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Editors are encouraged but not required to resubmit their draft for review before moving it to mainspace. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 23:09, 14 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
