We normaly leave Tags unactioned for longer than a few weeks to give editors time to fix the issue. Slatersteven (talk) 10:03, 14 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can Anyone explain? 103.88.57.46 (talk) 20:32, 13 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

IP editors are not supposed to discuss about caste related articles; you need extended confirmed right for editing or for any sort of discussion regarding the same as per the new rules on contentious topics (caste)! You can only post edit request for this article, no discussion! Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 07:47, 14 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Misinterpretation of sources to run personal narratives.

The article is filled with multiple statements where only selective portions of sourced reference are used to offer a manufactered narrative, and even secondary literature are given as reference where primary sources are available with full context. However, I understand there is no point in awaking someone pretending to be asleep.

Coming to the point, in the article provided as source to declare, Journalist Ravish Kumar as a Bhumihar.

In that article (the Hindi one), it is clear that it is the boy that he is referring to is calling himself a Bhumihar and Ravish Kumar has only, written his statement in direct speech. With this being obvious, Ravish Kumar has no where used the Bhumihar identity for himself.

Calling Ravish Kumar as Bhumihar is blatant distortion and misrepresentation of facts. Wikieditor369 (talk) 20:58, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

We do not say he is. Slatersteven (talk) 21:02, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is indeed the editor who is saying this. Cause even, somebody with Hindi Knowledge and comprehension skills can understand that Ravish doesn't says it for HIMSELF. Wikieditor369 (talk) 10:15, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We are here to discuss the article, where in the article do we say he is a Bhumihar? Slatersteven (talk) 10:18, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh, OK It was so minor I could not find it, now removed by another editor. Slatersteven (talk) 10:13, 18 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
