Are there any objections to an extensive rewrite?
I am looking at working up an article in my userspace, and simply replacing the current text with what I come up with. Does anyone who watches this article have any objections to this? Bellwether BC 20:24, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

I will take on this review! For prose, I prefer to make small changes myself (to save us both time), and only comment here if I have a question, but of course as always if you dislike any of my changes you should feel free to discuss or revert. This article looks to be in very good shape, looking forward to the review! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:15, 7 July 2025 (UTC)

- Sourcing wise, the article relies pretty heavily on a single source, the Abrams 2006. However, as far as I can tell it's the only book-length biography of Park, so it seems like an appropriate source to rely on. And several reputable obituaries are used to fill the gap from 2006 to her death. So, seems all right. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- I actually don't see any improvements needed for the prose -- wonderful work. It's particularly helpful how you gloss each book's contents in a single sentence. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- The photo of Park has an appropriate fair use license. Nice idea including her Hallmark card greeting in a quote box as an additional "illustration" when so many visual elements are not freely available. I don't think any additional images are possible, since all the book covers will also be copyrighted and this wouldn't be a fair use situation for them. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- Earwig is clean -- all the high matches are just the names of her books. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- For the source review I checked cites 3, 18, 32, 34, 54, and 57 as numbered in this diff.
- 3 verifies that Rancocas Valley Regional High School is the high school she attended, but not that she graduated in 1965. I found verification in Abrams and added it. Otherwise, the rest of the citations to 3 check out with no close paraphrasing. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- 18 doesn't verify the claim that her degree might have been "history and political science", but 1 does so I just removed 18 there. Otherwise, the rest of the citations to 18 check out with no close paraphrasing. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- 32, 34, 54, and 57 all check out, no notes. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- I found it interesting that, per Abrams p 59, Beanpole and Buddies as Park's only books to have gone out of print. That might be worth mentioning somewhere. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- Wow... what a smooth and easy GA review! My few nitpicks were easy for me to address myself, so actually, without bouncing this back to you for revisions, I am happy to mark this GA as a "pass". Excellent work! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
