Lokca is a village and municipality in Námestovo District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1496.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 647 metres (2,123 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 24.19 km² (9.34 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 2524 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 2389 people by ethnicity 2344 as Slovak, 44 as Not found out, 8 as Czech, 7 as Polish, 3 as Italian, 2 as Romani, 2 as Other, 1 as German, 1 as Hungarian and 1 as English.
