Higher education in Balochistan has seen steady growth but still faces significant challenges. The province has 11 public universities and over 50 private institutions.[1] The literacy rate in Balochistan stands at approximately 54%, with a lower percentage of women pursuing higher education.[2] The University of Balochistan is the largest institution, offering a range of programs. However, inadequate infrastructure and limited resources remain obstacles for students seeking quality education.
