James DeSana Sr. (born October 6, 1930),[1] also known as James R. DeSana, is an American politician. He served as a member for the 7th and 11th district of the Michigan Senate.

Life and career

DeSana was born in Wyandotte, Michigan.[2] He attended the University of Detroit Mercy, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management. He also attended Walsh Institute of Accounting and Business Law. He served in the United States Navy.[3]

DeSana served in the Michigan Senate[1] from 1976 to 1986.[4]
