Franjo Ivanović (born 1 October 2003)[2] is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Belgian Pro League club Union SG.[3] Born in Austria, he plays for the Croatia national team.[4]

Biography

Ivanović started his football career at the age of five in 2008 with SVg Mayrhofen, where he played until 2015.[2] He spent one season at JFG Lohwald and joined the youth academy of Germany's FC Augsburg in 2016.[2] On 31 August 2024, Ivanović signed a four-year contract with Union SG in Belgium.[5]

Ivanović is eligible to play for Croatia national football team through his passport and ethnicity.[6] He was called up for the UEFA Nations League match against France in March 2025[7] before eventually making his senior team debut in a 2–0 home loss on 21 March.[8]
