old Stovepipe Wells[dead link]
A memorial marks the location of the original "Stovepipe Wells" on the east side of Mesquite Flat dunes. Springs located near the intersection of two historic Indian trails were marked with stovepipes stuck in the sand.
Un memoriale contrassegna la posizione dell’originale “Tubo dei Pozzi” (Old Stovepipe Wells), dal lato orientale delle dune del Piano delle Fave, (Mesquite Flat) o (Prosopis glandulosa Oropedium). Le sorgenti localizzate vicino all'intersezione di due storici sentieri indiani, sono state segnate con tubi dell’acqua conficcati nella sabbia.
