Description
English: 1400 feet long by 210 feet wide. Can carry 3,600 footy foot containers (30L x 24W x5H). South of St. Louis there are no Lock and dams and the bridge clearance height 88 feet minimum (Eads Bridge is the lowest). There is a new port being built at the mouth of the Mississippi called the Louisiana International Terminal to accommodate container on barge.
