The 23rd Game Developers Choice Awards was an annual ceremony by Game Developers Choice Awards for outstanding game developers and video games which was held on March 22, 2023. The awards ceremony was held alongside the Independent Games Festival awards.

Winners and Nominees

The ceremony was held at the Moscone Center.
Elden Ring won Game of the Year.
John Romero won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nominees were announced on January 26, 2023.[1][2] Winners (noted in bold below) were named on March 22, 2023, in a ceremony hosted by Leslee Sullivant at the Moscone Center.[3][4][5]
