Not to be confused with St Dyfan, who is not to be confused with the St Deruvian who appears in the British legends concerning the baptism of King Lucius.

Saint Dyfnan was an obscure Welsh saint. He was sometimes accounted a son of Brychan, the invading Irish king of Brycheiniog.[1]

Legacy

Llanddyfnan ("St Dyfnan's") was dedicated to him on Anglesey and claimed his relics.[1] He is commemorated on 24 April.[2]
