68.209.235.149

User:68.209.235.149 has repeatedly removed accusations of being a sockpuppet of User:Eyrian under the guise of reversing vandalism, and additionally has begun doing so for User:Nori198 to allow him to avoid a 3RR citation.

On March 3, User:Wiki22445 came into being, putting several pages in tandem for AfD, all of which had short discussions save for Final Fantasy VII (Famicom). User has not since made any edits. On March 11th, User:78.86.140.118 cited Wiki22445 as a possible sockpuppet of Eyrian. Since March 3 with only two exceptions all of User:68.209.235.149's contributions have focused solely around the page. On two occasions he edited talk pages calling for good faith during the discussion. However the user himself has shown no such good faith, having claimed foul play early on and attacking me when I replied to his good faith comment on my talk page in a calm manner.

Suspecting something was wrong during the discussion I turned to User:JuJube for advice, who recommended going to the administrator's notice board with my complaint, and I subsequently informed the related parties of my complaints against them. 68.209.235.149 subsequently entered the fray, and then User:Nori198 came into being. Nori198 subsequently turned the discussion into one accusing me of being a sock puppetmaster, and attacked users covered by his accusation that have spoken up to defend themselves, such as the case of User:EvilThouther and User:Krator.

Taking things a step further I cited both 68.209.235.149 and Nori198 as sock puppets of Eyrian, given I suspect both are puppets at least for Wiki22445 and the previous accusation that Wiki22445 was actually a puppet for Eyrian. Both have since taken to removing the accusation from their talk pages repeatedly, citing "vandalism", and eventually 68.209.235.149 began to do so for Nori198's page as well as his own. Oddly, after User:Tiptoety restored the citation to Nori198's page, 68.209.235.149 undid it once more and commented on Tiptoety's talk page. However on the talk page he refers to Nori198's page as his own.

Accounts in question are resorting to the same arguments during discussion, and the two still active are backing each other up in disputes quite diligently.

Note that this spurious claim is a bad faith response to the very same claim made against User:Kung Fu Man, per Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Final_Fantasy_VII_article.2C_AFD.2C_and_sock_puppets and Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets/Kung_Fu_Man.  Possible that Wiki22445 and Foxit22 are the same; they are editing from open proxies so it is not 100% on the technical level. Eyrian is too old to check so  Deferred to another checkuser who might have saved info to compare Eyrian to Nori198. Thatcher 23:18, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
