Birayma N'dyeme Eter
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was kept. This nomination was malformatted (the wrong template was used at the redirect page) and the result is clear anyway, so I've closed it. (non-admin closure) Celia Homeford (talk) 10:19, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Birayma N'dyeme Eter → Birayma N'dyeme Eler (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
This (Eter) spelling is neither correct nor popular, most likely a result of an OCR error. Most mentions of Eter on the Web are directly due to quoting Wikipedia articles. WP:R#DELETE #8 (confusion) or #2 (obscure). Would be a speedy R3 if not for the history and escape of misspelling into the world. Викидим (talk) 20:31, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- If you want to delete it that's perfectly fine, just please make sure all the links to the Eter page are fixed to Eler before you do. Catjacket (talk) 20:42, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- All four links have been changed. Викидим (talk) 21:31, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Keep as an {{R from move}}. For context, the article move occurred only three hours before the redirect was nominated for deletion. The article existed at the incorrect title since 2018. It will take time to resolve internal and external links. - Presidentman talk · contribs (Talkback) 20:56, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- There are a total of 21 (with Google omitting some copies) Eter spellings on the Web. All of them that are not spam appear to be directly related to Wikipedia. Викидим (talk) 21:45, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. Longstanding titles should generally be kept as redirects unless they're harmful in some way. It's impossible to know how many external links are pointing to this title. Kk.urban (talk) 21:28, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Keep as per Kk.urban and Presidentman. If there are extant examples of people misspelling this name due to linking to Wikipedia, that means there are extant examples of external links that would get broken without this redirect. 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔫🌙🌙🌙 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔢𝔰𝔱 (talk) 22:00, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Keep per kk.urban, Presidentman and Lunamann. Google does not know about all links that exist, for it cannot know whether links exist in offline resources, bookmarks, facebook posts, intranet sites, etc, etc. Thryduulf (talk) 22:11, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

War of the Aequans

- The result of the discussion was delete. As an unopposed deletion nomination. Jay 💬 08:58, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
- War of the Aequans → Roman-Aequian wars (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
The term is extremely rarely used (cannot be found in Google books or Scholar at all, essentially two sources, with few copies of each, in Google search, one of them is Wikipedia itself). Therefore WP:R#DELETE #8 (very obscure) applies. Викидим (talk) 03:17, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

- Diagonal Star Clocks → Nocturnal (instrument) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
While "diagonal star tables" (DST, occasionally, clocks) are known Egyptian artefacts, they have almost nothing with this instrument. The DSTs are predictably not mentioned in the redirect target. A separate article on DST will no doubt be eventually written. Викидим (talk) 02:18, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Retarget to Decan, which does mention DSTs-- and even has a picture of one. 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔫🌙🌙🌙 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔢𝔰𝔱 (talk) 02:23, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Good find! In this case, delete the redirects nonetheless and recreate with regular capitalization. Викидим (talk) 03:27, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have already created the Diagonal star clock, so just delete these. Викидим (talk) 04:56, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Good find! In this case, delete the redirects nonetheless and recreate with regular capitalization. Викидим (talk) 03:27, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Retarget to Decan per Lunamann and mark as {{R avoided double redirect}}s of Diagonal star clock. Title case redirects are plausible search terms. Thryduulf (talk) 12:15, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Retarget to Decan per Lunamann and Thryduulf, valid Template:R avoided double redirects and Template:R from Plural. Topic is mentioned there and if it ever becomes its own article these will be easily adjusted. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:64C2:3C62:6E7C:A188 (talk) 16:07, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

Crooked House murder
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was retarget to Crooked House. Jay 💬 07:18, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
- Crooked House murder → The Crooked House#2023 fire and demolition (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Odd and confusing target given that Crooked House is murder mystery, along with some associated media listed at Crooked House (disambiguation), while the current target has nothing to do with murder. What should we do with it? Delete or retarget? 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:FC75:2DF1:8269:1C77 (talk) 02:13, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Retarget to Crooked House. The only other thing we have here in Wikipedia that could possibly be about a "Crooked House murder", Crooked House (film), is an adaptation of Crooked House, the Agatha Christie novel. 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔫🌙🌙🌙 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔢𝔰𝔱 (talk) 02:35, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Retarget plausible search term, but seems like there are multiple targets. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:44, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Architectural destruction is a plausible search term for murder anyway.
Also IPs in this range seem to have an obsession with nominating redirects of mine for RFD and not doing many other edits, so this RFD seems like a continuation of this (rather than being based on sensible editing).Joseph2302 (talk) 10:54, 11 March 2024 (UTC)- I have already responded elsewhere, and this is a content forum rather than a conduct forum, but in brief, this is nonsense. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:48FA:964F:4A78:DB97 (talk) 15:12, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have struck the part of the comment about user conduct, as this has been discussed elsewhere, and I'm also sufficiently convinced that this wasn't bad faith editing. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:18, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was Speedy keep. The nominator has failed to provide any indication of what action they are seeking or why they are seeking that. Thryduulf (talk) 12:17, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

- Am home, and able to actually look stuff up lol. (Trying to edit and comment on the mobile app while looking up stuff is a PAIN, 0/10, would not recommend.) In any case, now that I can actually look stuff up, recommending Speedy Keep as per reason 1: Absence of Rationale. Only thing I can think of is that @MrBauer24: wanted to recommend a retarget to a page where AGE was an acronym, but I can't think of one lol 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔫🌙🌙🌙 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔢𝔰𝔱 (talk) 01:58, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
