Only a single English-language source, and it's an opinion piece that does not appear to refer to the alleged Norwegian concept. No evidence that this is a notable concept—seems like a translated neologism. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 02:13, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

- Delete - WP:DICTIONARY - It might be a terminology used in Norway, but in the United States and in the United Kingdom it's called tabloid journalism. — Maile (talk) 05:02, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTDICTIONARY as a Norwegian neologism with very limited use in English. I might be open to a merge/redirect if someone can find an appropriate target, but all the obvious ones (Poverty porn, Inspiration porn etc.) don't seem to quite fit. MCE89 (talk) 08:24, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Merge with Sensationalism#Features_of_sensationalism: Can be dealt with in a short paragraph there. -Mushy Yank. 22:20, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

- ???.... Social pornograhy is a type of sensationalist journalism, so it can be covered there. -Mushy Yank. 07:18, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- I've seen no evidence that it is a type of sensationalist journalism; just a term in Norway for sensationalist journalism. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 16:50, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Even then, what's the issue? You can add "In Norway" and "neologism" in the text, if you think it's necessary. A LOT of coverage about the concept if you search with the original-language word in GBooks for example. Some foreign neologisms are notable and this one seems to deserve at least a redirect where it can be briefly covered. -Mushy Yank. 18:36, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Why would someone search for "social pornography" on English Wikipedia and expect sensationalist journalism, since the term practically does not exist in English and is just a translation of a Norwegian word? ꧁Zanahary꧂ 19:32, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
