Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement topic ban

The following topic ban now applies to you:

You are topic banned for one year from the conflict between Palestine and Israel, broadly construed.

You have been sanctioned as a result of this AE filing

This topic ban is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Index/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision and, if applicable, the contentious topics procedure. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. Please read WP:TBAN to understand what a topic ban is. If you do not comply with the topic ban, you may be blocked for an extended period to enforce the ban.

If you wish to appeal the ban, please read the appeals process. You are free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:56, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:08, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Balanced editing restriction

Hey, Drsmoo. In the year since your topic ban from ARBPIA, you made ~7 edits. Since it expired a couple weeks ago you've made ~18 edits, all within that area.

I am imposing a balanced editing restriction under ARBPIA, which you can read about here. Restriction is for 1 year, appealable to AE ARCA. Valereee (talk) 17:49, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to be the first time this new restriction has been used, so per the developer, Tamzin, here are the things you most need to know:

You are subject to a balanced editing restriction for the next year. Please read that section in full, and keep the following points in mind:

  1. The topic-ban portion of the restriction, which applies outside of the main, talk, draft, and draft talk namespaces, except in your userspace, applies immediately, and works like any other topic ban.
  2. The percentage-based portion becomes relevant 30 days from now.
  3. You can track your PIA editing percentage manually, by dividing your hits on Filter 1339 by your total edits to the four tracked namespaces; or with the tool n-ninety-five, which automates that process (source code).

This action is appealable to WP:AE.

Ok, that’s fine Drsmoo (talk) 19:41, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like I can't specify apeeals to AE, so I've revised, sorry about that! Valereee (talk) 14:04, 2 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
