Hello, I'm Mike Allen! I joined Wikipedia in August 2009 (mainly to be able to browse with the then new beta layout, Vector 2010). I began learning the rules of editing that October and soon after I joined the Film Project. I took a break from February 2012–December 2022. Just in time for Vector 2022. Yay!

I mainly work on film and television (and very occasionally video game) articles, some of particular interest or just spontaneously. I like to do cleanup such as sourcing/ref tweaks and MOS:FILM tweaks. I expand stubs with production/film credits/reception and create drafts and articles. I also patrol film pages.
