I've been a Wikipedia User since the middle of 2005. I'd known about Wikipedia for a while, but it wasn't until I had to do some basic curiosity based research one day that I discovered its great worth. I love the idea of Wikipedia and hope to help out in adding to it in a constructive way. The way this collaborative effort works is fascinating.

I'm an American male living in the State of Wisconsin. I grew up in the country of Zambia but have lived in the United States for some time now. I am a practicing Lutheran and consider myself as a political conservative. I tend to vote for candidates rather than parties. I also pay attention to what's going on so I know who to vote for. I've voted in almost every Federal, state and local election in my area since 2002.

I've got a strong background in a few things, but mainly on computer games, the Second World War, as well as general American and African history. Of course, being a person who loves information, I might be found anywhere around here, tweaking this and that. I tend to be a grammar hound, though I only edit if I'm sure about my corrections. I also watch out for little things, formatting, clarity, spelling and the like and make those changes when I can. I'm pretty active at Wikipedia:Cleanup.

This is a call for volunteers to get active in helping out in Wikipedia:Cleanup. Wikipedia:Cleanup is a page used to co-ordinate cleanup of articles needing serious attention and correction. This may include copyediting, wikification, sourcing, etc.

Due to the massive backlog of articles needing cleanup, the few editors (me included) actively involved in Wikipedia:cleanup have had a hard time keeping up. That's why we need the help of other editors. If interested, head on over to Wikipedia:Cleanup. Thanks!
