Feeling unappreciated is a major factor in many users' decisions to leave Wikipedia. Esperanza seeks to recognize users by highlighting one each week as a featured Wikipedian. Wikipedian of the week would get its own section on this particular page, rather than the Main Page as has been suggested. We'll probably template this. The template will be unprotected until the week it is up, enabling all members to work on it, but once it is up it will be protected to avoid vandalism. We will probably run a poll about whether or not to have such a thing.

Another possible thing we could do is maybe make a userpage award, to those pages that look especially good.

Esperanzians can use the Esperanza Calendar to add when their birthday is, and we can wish them greetings on that day.

Alternative: Esperanzians could fill in their first edit date, and greet them then.

A drive to make a specific article FA worthy. This sounds like the Featured Article Drive except it would be working with fellow Esperanzians. Of course, we would not close off other editors from editing it, or it wouldn't be a wiki ;)

Fixing up each other's user pages, trading spaces
