:Hi, Redthoreau. You can't protect or semi-protect pages unless you're an admin. For vandals: First of all, you put warnings on their talk page: <nowiki>{{subst:uw-vandalism1}}</nowiki> etc. (levels 1,2,3,4). Start with level 1, but if they've already received a warning you put a higher number. See [[Wikipedia:User warning templates]]. If they're received one that says "final warning" and they've vandalised after that, then you report them at [[WP:AIV]] for administrator attention. See also [[WP:Vandalism]]. <font color="#BB7730" size="5pt">☺</font>[[User:Coppertwig|Coppertwig]] ([[User talk:Coppertwig|talk]]) 22:37, 16 April 2008 (UTC) |

Feature article review notice
Che Guevara has been nominated for a featured article review. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. Please leave your comments and help us to return the article to featured quality. If concerns are not addressed during the review period, articles are moved onto the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article from featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Reviewers' concerns are here.

- Thank you for editing your comment on the article talk page. Well done. :-) I'm going to put a small comment there stating that your comment has been changed, so that Mattisse's reply won't look out-of-context. See Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#Own comments. --Coppertwig (talk) 20:04, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm feeling a little ashamed for having criticized your editing practices above, because during the last few edits I did to the article, I was totally oblivious that a repeated vandal was swinging through, followed by a troop of Recent Changes patrollers, bless them. I'm going to have to carefully study the page history to make sure I didn't accidentally re-insert any of the vandalism. --Coppertwig (talk)
- Re some comments on Mattisse' talk page about taking the high road etc.: some of the comments seem to have been copied from somewhere else so I'm confused about who said what when, but it seems that some people responding to you were being a little illogical. You said you're committed to taking the high road from now on, which is great. They were bringing up things you said in the past before you made that commitment, as if that somehow contradicted what you were saying. You can't change the past -- the most you can do is apologize for it. Coppertwig (talk) 12:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm working on the "Disappearance from Cuba" and "References" sections right now, and may soon move on to using "Congo" and "References". If you're changing other parts of the article, it would be convenient if you would use section editing to avoid edit conflicts. (Or send me a message to warn me if you're about to edit those sections, so I can save what I've done so far first, if I seem to be actively editing at the time.) Do keep editing, though! ☺Coppertwig (talk) 01:13, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Re. Hello
(Copied over from my talk page:) Thanks. Had I the time, I'd probably linger, but probably shouldn't. It looks as though plenty of work is going into that article as it is! --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 01:17, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Mattisse
- I've posted a note on my talk page addressed to you which is a reply to some messages you've posted. I'd just like to add here that I'm impressed by the diplomacy you showed in your wording of your announcement that you were removing the POV tag from Che Guevara. --Coppertwig (talk) 00:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
