Nedu Wazobia (born 5 August 1982), born Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, is a Nigerian radio personality, broadcast journalist, TV presenter, actor, comedian, and content creator. He delivers the daily news on Wazobia FM 94.1 in Lagos in Pidgin English.

Early life and career

Nedu Wazobia was born in Kaduna, Nigeria. He studied accounting at Madonna University in Elele Okija, Anambra State. He then participated in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, where he worked as an on-air personality at a radio station in Jigawa. He later returned to Abuja to work as a site manager. After two years in that role, he moved to Lagos, becoming a broadcaster and entertainer.

In media

He plays various characters such as Sister Nkechi, Alhaji Musa, EndTime Landlord, and Officer Jato[1] on social media comedy skits. He was one of the hosts of the podcast Honest Bunch, along with Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Ezinne, where he engages discussions on a variety of topics discussing real millennial and Gen Z issues. In February of 2025, he resigned as the host of the podcast. His resignation was due to the controversy stirred by social media critic Martins Ortse, aka VeryDarkMan, who accused him of demanding sex for movie and skit roles from a female content creators for visibility, among whom was Jojooflele. VeryDarkMan then threatened to release the names of all celebrities Nedu had allegedly slept with in exchange for roles.

Personal life

In 2013, Nedu married Uzoamaka Ohiri lasting for 5 years with three children, but their marriage ended in 2018 due to infidelity and paternity fraud.
