Jakusko is a local government area in Yobe State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Jakusko in the west of the area at 12°22′09″N 10°46′23″E / 12.36917°N 10.77306°E.
It has an area of 3,941 km2 and a population of 229,083 at the 2006 census.
The postal code of the area is 631.[1]
The Bade language is spoken in Jakusko LGA.[2]
Climate
Temperatures in Jakusko range from 59°F to 105°F, rarely dipping below 53°F or rising above 109°F, and are oppressively hot during the rainy and dry seasons.[3][4]
