Alanna Panday (born 16 August 1995) is an Indian social media influencer and Youtuber, best known for her role in the reality series The Tribe, which was released on 4 October 2024, and has since been nominated for an International Indian Film Academy Awards.
Personal life
Alanna was born on 16 August 1995,[1] in Mumbai to Deanne Pandey, a fitness expert, and Chikki Panday, a businessman.[2] She graduated in fashion management from the London College of Fashion.[3] In 2023, Alanna married Ivor McCray, an American filmmaker and photographer, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2024.[4]
Career
Alanna began her career as a social media influencer, gaining over 1.8 million followers on Instagram, where she shares content related to fashion, beauty, fitness, and travel.[5] She also co-manages a YouTube channel, Alanna & Ivor, which has 1.42 million subscribers, where they share travel experiences and family moments.[6] In 2024, Alanna played a significant role in The Tribe, a reality show about Indian influencers navigating Los Angeles.[7][8] The show, released on 4 October 2024, on Amazon Prime Video, has garnered attention and was nominated for an International Indian Film Academy Awards.[9]
