Whipstick Ward is a single-member ward in the City of Greater Bendigo, covering the suburbs of Eaglehawk, California Gully, Jackass Flat and Sailors Gully, the localities of Eaglehawk North, Woodvale, Whipstick and Neilborough and the towns of Sebastian and Raywood.[2] As of the 2024 election the ward is currently held by Owen Cosgriff from Victorian Socialists.[3]
History
The ward was created in 2024 after an electoral boundary review.[4][5] The ward was won by Owen Cosgriff from Victorian Socialists, making him the Party's only elected representative on any level of government.[6]
