On 14 November 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Schoharie limousine crash, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the stretch limousine involved in the recent crash near Schoharie, New York, killing 20, appeared at two vehicle inspections earlier this year with different license plates? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Schoharie limousine crash), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. A beer for you!

Fame at last...
How does Wikipedia deal with a mass shooting? A frenzied start gives way to a few core editors. No mention of me though:). Nice diagrams, and a quick look at the page histories of shooting incidents will show a core of regular editors.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 17:30, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
HI WWGB, I'm a researcher at Sydney Uni and would like to contact you. I'm not sure how best to do this and hoping this message somehow reaches you....Doctor 17. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doctor 17 (talk • contribs) 08:45, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

Were you aware?
I assume that you have been made aware of this. But, in the event that you were not, I wanted to point it out to you and bring this to your attention. Your name was mentioned in this article: How does Wikipedia deal with a mass shooting? A frenzied start gives way to a few core editors. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 23:46, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Vishnu V Raj
Hello - I saw that you had marked Vishnu V Raj for BLPPROD, which is entirely sensible, though I wonder if you might revert to consider AfD instead? The reason being that the same creating editor created Vishnu V. Raj a couple of weeks ago with pretty much the exact same content, which was deleted via BLPPROD, and I suspect that they will keep creating it if it is deleted like this again. At least AfD will be a bit more final, and we have the option of speedy deletion in the future if the article is created again. I think that the subject is entirely non notable, BTW: I endorsed the previous BLPPROD on the basis that there were no decent sources with significant coverage. Cheers SunloungerFrog (talk) 07:02, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- @SunloungerFrog:, why not start the AfD yourself? If you are not confident, make a start and I will follow if necessary. Regards, WWGB (talk) 07:41, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- I am very happy to do so, but didn't want to ride roughshod over your BLPPROD (also wasn't quite sure whether it was allowed at the same time). I'll do that now. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 07:52, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
