Why does this site not mention the financial advantages of having users press your like button? 62.194.87.144 (talk) 00:00, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is a summary of what has already been published. Can you provide a link to any publication which shares this information? If so, that published information can be summarized and cited in Wikipedia. Blue Rasberry (talk) 12:54, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
Adjustments/ Changes
What is the current status of the Facebook like button? How has this changed since the latest update to this article in May 2017? Jmills27 (talk) 23:20, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Like button
Most of it belongs here, while the rest is redundant to Rating site. wumbolo ^^^ 13:51, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose I agree that a merge would be beneficial, but I would rather it go toward moderation system or some such. Unfortunately for this proposal, Moderation system is currently defined in that article as screening out negative content, not a general purpose rating system. Sometimes likes are used for trust metrics or as part of a recommender system. I wouldn't mind seeing Like button split among these, but really, we need to find good sources and follow those. - I agree that sources should be followed. wumbolo ^^^ 10:11, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
