Paralepidotus is an extinct genus of prehistoric ray-finned fish.[1]

Distribution

Fossil P. ornatus

Fossils of Paralepidotus are found in the Triassic marine strata of Austria, France, Italy, Poland, Saudi Arabia and United States.
