The Manado metropolitan area, known locally as Bimindo (an acronym of Bitung–Minahasa–Manado), is a metropolitan area anchored by the city of Manado in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.[2][3][4][5] It includes the cities of Bitung and Tomohon, as well as Minahasa Regency and North Minahasa Regency. It is the second-largest metropolitan area in Sulawesi with an estimated population of over 1.377 million as of mid 2023.[6][7]

The official metropolitan area centred on Manado includes three cities (Manado, Biuting and Tomohon) and two regencies (Minahasa and North Minahasa).
