English: Title in the top of the map is written in old Dutch: "Afbeldinge der stadt Iudiad hooft des Choonincrick Siam". English translation: "Image of the city Iudiad capital of the Kingdom Siam". This is the ancient city Ayutthaya, founded in 1350, the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam. This map is a watercolor drawing by Johannes Vingboons, circa 1665. Note: Iudiad is sometimes spelled as Judiad or Judja which is incorrect.
Nederlands: Titel bovenaan de kaart is geschreven in oud Nederlands: "Afbeldinge der stadt Iudiad hooft des Choonincrick Siam". Dit is de oude stad Ayutthaya, gesticht in 1350, de tweede hoofdstad van het Koninkrijk Siam. Deze kaart is een aquareltekening van Johannes Vingboons, circa 1665. Let op: Iudiad wordt soms gespeld als Judiad of Judja, dat is onjuist.
