Kim Doré ( born 1978 Montreal) is a Quebec poet and editor. She is co-founder and co-director of the Poètes de brousse publishing house .[1]

She won the French -language poetry  prize at the Radio-Canada Literary Awards,[2] and Émile-Nelligan Prize .[3][4]

Life

Kim Doré completed her master 's studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal, on the relationship between science and literature.

In 1997 , Kim Doré co-founded the new poetry collection “Poètes de brousse” with Jean-François Poupart at Éditions des Intouchables, based in Montreal .

In 2004 , she and her colleague made it a full-fledged publishing house of the same name: Poètes de brousse . They gave it the mission of "bringing new voices to the forefront in contemporary Quebec poetry".[5]

She has continued to co-manage this publishing house since its founding, joined by Myriam Vincent .[6]
