Samaira Hullur[1] (born 5 July 2006) is an Indian aviator from Vijayapura, Karnataka, India, she became the youngest female commercial pilot in India.[2][3] over 200 hours of flying experience, including night flights and operations on multi-engine aircraft.

Early life

Samaira was born in Vijayapura, Karnataka, Daughter of Amin Hullur an interior designer, and her mother, a fashion designer and teacher. After her school, Samaira moved to Carver Aviation Academy in Baramati, Maharashtra, to undertake seven months of flight training. she has achieved the India's youngest commercial pilot in India[4][5][6][7]

Education

Samaira completed her SSLC at 15 and her 12th standard at 17 from Kendriya Vidyalaya. She trained at Vinod Yadav Aviation Academy (VYAA) in New Delhi and later at Carver Aviation Academy in Baramati, Maharashtra. Over one-and-a-half years, she cleared six tough DGCA examinations (most on her first attempt) and accumulated over 200 hours of flying experience, including night flights and operations on multi-engine aircraft.[8][9]
