North Carolina's 42nd Senate district is one of 50 districts in the North Carolina Senate. It has been represented by Democrat Woodson Bradley since 2025.[1]
Geography
Since 2023, the district has covered part of Mecklenburg County. The district overlaps with the 88th, 100th, 102nd, 103rd, 104th, and 105th state house districts.
