Die Trauben werden mittels Gabelstapler auf ein Vibrationsband geladen, von wo aus sie in den Behälter oben links fallen. Im Entrapper wird das Traubengerüst von den Beeren getrennt. Die Rappen (Traubengerüst) werden rechts ausgeschleust und durch eine Föderschnecke entsorgt. Die gequetschten Beeren ergeben die Maische, die über eine Pumpe abgeführt wird.
English: A grape processing machine at Chateau Montelena Winery in Calistoga, California. Grape clusters are loaded via forklift from plastic bins onto a vibrating table, from which they fall into the hopper at the top left; the stems drop out the chute at the right and are carried by a screw conveyor to a truck above. The destemmed grapes then enter the tube at the lower left for further processing.
