Fulwood Academy (formerly Fulwood High School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Fulwood, Preston) in the English county of Lancashire.[1]

Previously a community school administered by Lancashire County Council, Fulwood High School converted to academy status on 1 September 2009 and was renamed Fulwood Academy. The school is sponsored by Charles Dunstone through a charitable trust, the Dunstone Education Trust.[2]

Fulwood Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils.

The academy emphasises a strong academic ethos combined with excellent pastoral care, aiming to foster creative, ambitious, and caring young individuals. The staff are dedicated to providing enriching experiences both inside and outside the classroom, setting high expectations for teaching and learning.

In June 2023, Ofsted rated Fulwood Academy as "Good" in all areas, highlighting the inclusive culture, positive relationships between pupils and staff, and the calm, polite demeanor of students. Principal Andrew Galbraith, who assumed leadership in June 2022, has been instrumental in driving positive changes within the school.
