Johan Printz, gouverneur de la Nouvelle-Suède (1643-1653) Swedish: Johan Björnsson Printz (1592-1663) var guvernör i Nya Sverige och landshövding i Jönköpings län. Åren 1643-1653 var han guvernör över den svenska kolonin Nya Sverige, som då hade sin blomstringstid. Han var guvernör 15 februari 1643 - 31 oktober 1653. English:Johan Björnsson Printz (1592-1663) was governor from 1643 until 1653 of the Swedish colony of New Sweden on the Delaware River in North America and Governor of Jönköping, Sweden from 1658 until 1663. He was governor 15 February 1643 - 31 October 1653. A painting (by an unknown artist) of the governor Johan Printz can be found in Bottnaryd rectory.
