Lillian Adelman (1899 – 1985)[1] was an American artist known for her work with the Federal Art Project of the Works Progress Administration (WPA).[2] Her work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art,[3] the Museum of Modern Art,[1] the National Gallery of Art,[4] the Philadelphia Museum of Art,[5] and the Yale University Art Gallery.[6]
