Heinz Robert Mörschel Moreno (born 24 August 1997) is a Dominican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Portuguese 2nd division club Vizela.[3][4][5] A former youth international for Germany, he plays for the Dominican Republic national team.

Club career

Mörschel is a youth exponent from 1. FSV Mainz 05. He made his 3. Liga debut with Mainz 05 II on 10 August 2016 against VfL Osnabrück.[6]

In June 2018, Mörschel joined 2. Bundesliga side Holstein Kiel on a two-year contract.[7] He then joined SC Preußen Münster on 1 July 2019.[8]

In August 2020, he joined KFC Uerdingen 05 on a contract until June 2022.[9] However, he left Uerdingen prematurely and joined Dynamo Dresden in January 2021.[10]

International career

Mörschel was born in the Dominican Republic to a German father and Dominican mother, and moved to Germany at 8 months old.[11] He is a youth international for Germany, having played for the Germany U18s.[12] He was called up to the Dominican Republic national team for a set of 2023–24 CONCACAF Nations League matches in September 2023.[13][14]
