Summary

Description
English: This plaque may be found on several historic homes located in the west end of Provincetown, Massachusetts. It distinguishes those houses which were once part of a settlement on Long Point, at the very tip of Cape Cod. When the settlement declined and disbanded, many of the 38 families took their house with them, by floating them across the harbor on rafts.
