Die Plaza de Mendoza (...) hat keine Unterschrift des Autors. Der argentinische Historiker Bonifacio del Carril identifiziert Goering in seinem Werk Monumenta Iconographica als Autor. Auch der argentinische Archäologe Daniel Gastón Schávelzon identifiziert Goering als Autor.
