Caleb Lomu is an American football offensive tackle for the Utah Utes.
Early life and high school
Lomu attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona. Lomu earned invites to play in the All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl.[1] He was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Utah Utes offers from Arizona, Michigan, and USC.[1]
College career
As a freshman in 2023, Lomu only played 25 snaps for the Utes and took a redshirt.[2] He earned the starting left tackle spot in 2024.[3] That season, Lomu allowed just 17 pressures and two sacks, earning freshman all-American honors from The Athletic.[4] Heading into the 2025 season, he is heavily regarded as one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2026 NFL draft.[5][6]
