Delete. It is the task of the (first) editors to show the notability of the topic. Gun Powder Ma (talk) 08:22, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep The early versions of this article did have mention of awards for his productions, with some inline links, but these were not explicit as references, which they are now. The subject has been associated with BAFTA and Emmy winning productions; while it may be possible to debate who does what on a film and the extent to which for example the producer is associated with a soundtrack award, I think there is enough here to indicate notability. • Comment A particular AfD is possibly not the forum for discussion-about-discussion, but I note that this article reached AfD a mere 10 minutes after its initial creation. I appreciate that there is a need for early screening of dodgy new articles, but CSD provides that. I also appreciate that - as has been said above - there is an onus on the creator of an article to show notability, but AfD seems too crude a tool to elicit the desirable improvements and to encourage further future contribution. My 2p worth. AllyD (talk) 20:16, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy Keep Article has reference to where he won an Emmy. Egads, never do an AfD on an article that is only 10 minutes old. Do a WP:BLPPROD. Remember Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers. Bgwhite (talk) 04:38, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per WP:ANYBIO and notable award nominations.[1] The nominator's concerns were easily addressed through WP:BEFORE and regular editing by others. Notablility is asserted and notability shown through improvements to article and sourcing added. I politely remind the nominator that WP:Deletion policy advises that if concerns can be addressed through regular editing, we do not have a suitable candidate for deletion... a caveat that encourages looking to see if it is possible before so nominating. • Speedy Keep – Notable personality, and there are enough references to prove that. I've seen the history of nominator, and clearly this is his another way of misusing deletion tags. I don't understand why he doesn't stop patrolling new articles when he has already rebuked over the same matter. — Bill william comptonTalk 10:59, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep notability has been demonstrated. As for the nominator, he has agreed to NPP mentoring with Kudpung. LadyofShalott 12:02, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
